Becoming a Maitland Soccer Club Player

Registration is the start of it all, where you become a part of the Maitland Soccer Club family. We have four levels of play available:

Instructional Program U5-U7
Recreational and Competitive Recreational U8-U14
Developmental U8-U10
Premier U11-U19 Select

Registration Requirements

A parent or legal guardian of player(s) to be registered
State certified Birth Certificate
Check or cash for fees

Registration Fees

Maitland Soccer Club has in in-house program for players born between 8/1/2001 and 7/31/2004. The Registration fee for this group is $100. There is no uniform fee for these players. Games for the U5-U7 players are played Friday nights at Lake Destiny Soccer Field in Maitland. In addition, the City of Maitland requires us to collect a $20 Non-Resident Fee from all players who are not residents of the City of Maitland.

Older players, born 8/1/2000 and later (U8 and up) compete in League Play. These are recreational and competitive teams. Registration fee is $110 plus an additional $65 uniform fee. The uniform consists of shorts, 2 soccer jerseys and socks. Games are played both Saturday and Sunday. In addition, the City of Maitland requires us to collect a $20 Non-Resident Fee from all players who are not residents of the City of Maitland.

Premier Team players (U11-U18) pay a yearly fee. The registration fee is $300 which includes the Fall and Spring seasons. The Premier uniform cost is $150.00 which consists of shorts, two soccer jerseys and socks.

Financial assistance and scholarships are available to ensure that every child can play soccer. If you want information about these programs, please contact the MSC Secretary.

Mail-In Registration Option

If you can not attend any of the in-person registration dates, or would rather register via mail, please follow these steps. Your registration will not be processed if any of these items are missing or incomplete. If you have any questions, please contact the MSC Registrar.

Print and fill out the Maitland Soccer Club Registration Form (PDF)
Print and fill out the Florida Youth Soccer Association Registration Form (PDF)
Write a check made out to "Maitland Soccer Club" for the appropriate fees (see "Registration Fees" above)
Make a copy of your child's state certified birth certificate

If you are a U8 player or above and are unsure of your uniform size, please attend one of these "in-person" registration sessions so you can select the correct size from our sample uniform selection.

The Fall 2008 Season runs from mid-September until mid-November.

Becoming A Coach or Trainer

Please volunteer to coach your child's team. Coaching experience is not necessarily required.

Coaches and trainers will need to bring their driver's license to registration.
Parents who coach will receive a 50% discount on the Registration Fee
