Deltona Youth Soccer Club is pleased to announce that they will be hosting the 20th Annual D. C. Cup Classic. The tournament is for BOYS and GIRLS teams from U-7 through U-16 inclusive. The tournament matches will be held May 17th and 18th 2008 at the Dewey Boster Sports Complex, 1200 Saxon Blvd. Deltona

Age Divisions

D.C. Cup is intended for Recreational Teams U-7 to U-16. Teams that carry a Competitive code, but for some reason were unable to participate in the Region Cup tournament will be allowed to enter the D.C. Cup under a separate division if there are enough like teams. THEY WILL NOT BE COMBINED WITH THE RECREATIONAL DIVISION. Any TEAM or PLAYER that participated in Regional or State cup will not be eligible to participate in D.C. Cup.

Team Information

  • U-13 - U-16 maximum of 18 players on a roster
  • U-11 - U-12 maximum of 14 players on a roster
  • U-9 - U-10 maximum of 12 players on a roster
  • U-7 - U-8 maximum of 8 players on a roster

Players and Coaches must have current verified FYSA computer generated passes. All must be signed, pictured, and laminated. All must match the FYSA official roster. Players must be primary to the team. ABSOLUTELY NO GUEST OR DUALED (SECONDARY) PLAYERS WILL BE PERMITTED TO PLAY.

Tournament Format

Tournament rules will follow FYSA and USYSA rules of play for all age groups. Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 3 games. ANY TEAM WHICH DOES NOT SHOW FOR A SCHEDULED MATCH WILL BE FINED $50.00 PER GAME.

Application Procedure

This team application form is from the GCF Soccer Website (gcfsoccer.com). All applications MUST be legible. Early applications are recommended. The APPLICATION DEADLINE IS MAY 1, 2008. The tournament registration fee is $200.00. No late applications will be accepted. This is an invitational tournament. Applying does not guarantee acceptance. After receipt of the completed application and entry fee, the contact person will be notified via e-mail of the teams’ acceptance. Any team not accepted will receive a refund. Any team that withdraws after May 1st, 2008 will not be eligible for a refund. Applications must be accompanied by the entry fee for acceptance.

Coache's Meeting

A MANDATORY coaches meeting and check in will be held on Wednesday, May 14th, 2008. Time and place will be determined at a later date and will be posted on the GCF website. Each team MUST have a representative at this meeting. There will be NO check in after Wed. night. Ensure that you bring your respective Coaches and player’s passes. Rosters for those that played in league play will be provided by FYSA. If your team played in-house, your registrar will provide you with a roster to present at check in.
